The DreamStation Auto CPAP Machine from Philips Respironics represents the latest in CPAP technology. From Bluetooth connectivity to automatic temperature adjustment in the humidifier, the DreamStation features numerous new features and refinements of existing ones to provide a patient-focused range of CPAP machines.


DreamStation Auto CPAP Machine

Important Information: This is an 'automatic' CPAP machine which automatically adjusts the pressure for the user, although it can also be set with specific pressure settings if required. Please note, a prescription is required to purchase this machine. The prescription will detail the machines pressure setting, if required, which will be set before shipping.

The DreamStation range of CPAP machines is notably smaller and lighter than the System One predecessors. The main DreamStation units themselves weigh around 15% less than their System One equivalents - already favoured for their compact size.

Philips Respironics has made allowing patients to keep on top of their therapy a top priority with the DreamStation range. As a result, the DreamStation provides numerous ways of allowing patients to view their sleep data. As usual, the data can be downloaded from the SD card (included) by your healthcare provider. However, the full-colour display also means you can access the important statistics on the machine itself. Thirdly, if you have a compatible iOS or Android smart device (not included) then you can use the DreamMapper app to view more in-depth statistics and data graphs.

The DreamStation Auto can detect if and when you start or stop using your CPAP machine. If you need a toilet break during the night, for example, you do not need to worry about fumbling about for the right button. Simply take your mask off and the machine will power down, and once it detects your breathing again it will resume automatically. This is another small feature which, when added to the other little touches Philips have added, show how patient-focussed the DreamStation is. Please be aware that this feature is actually disabled as standard, so do let us know prior to dispatch if you would like us to enable this for you.

Modern CPAP machines require no maintenance other than regular changing of the filters. Many patients do not realise how important this actually is; clogged filters can reduce the performance of the machine and over time the filters will start to disintegrate. It is therefore important to keep on top of this as directed. The DreamStation range now has automatic reminders when each filter is approaching the end of its lifespan.

Philips Respironics pioneered exhalation relief technology, which sees the machine lower the pressure it is providing slightly when the patient is breathing out. This allows the patient to exhale against less pressure; making it easier and more comfortable. Phillips has further refined their A-Flex functionality (their name for exhalation relief) to make the transitions between inhalation and exhalation smoother and more natural than ever before.

The DreamStation Heated Humidifier has various temperature settings that you can adjust to suit. However, it also features an Adaptive mode, which monitors the ambient humidity of the room and adjusts the temperature of the water accordingly. No guesswork or trial and error required - you can rest knowing that you should be getting the right level of humidification regardless. The DreamStation Heated Humidifier slots neatly onto the main unit and share the same power supply, so there's no need for a second wall socket.

Unfortunately, next day delivery is not possible at this time as our courier company is experiencing delays with deliveries in particular regions around the country.

This is a result of ongoing volume increases as many consumers have moved to order online as a direct result of the Covid-19 shopping restrictions. This is also due to increased deliveries to health and hospital locations to support patient care. Until the restrictions are lifted, please allow between 3-5 days for delivery. 

  • Next day delivery is only available on items ordered before 12 noon Monday to Thursday.
  • We use a courier service for all our deliveries, this ensures your order is delivered to you in perfect condition.
  • We deliver orders to any desired address.
  • We deliver from Monday to Friday. We do not deliver on Saturday or Sunday.
  • The cost of shipping is €9.95 per order.
  • The expected delivery time will depend on the stock levels. We will always ship out orders as soon as is practicable. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure these times are met, but cannot be held responsible for dispatched parcels delayed by third parties, for example due to poor weather conditions.


Beechfield Sleep makes every effort to ensure products arrive in perfect condition. However in the unlikely event of a product arriving damaged, customers should contact Customer Services within a reasonable time of receipt and return the package within a reasonable time, for a replacement to be sent.

If you find your purchase is unsatisfactory, we are happy to exchange items or refund your credit/debit card, provided the goods are returned to us within 14 days of their receipt, in the original undamaged packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We regret, however, that we cannot, in this case, refund return postage costs.

If you have not received your order within 28 working days from the dispatch date, customers should contact Customers Services. If we are unable to locate the missing product a replacement will be sent.
