CPAP Tubing
CPAP Tubing should be replaced every 12 months. There are different types of hoses and some, such as heated hoses, are specific to the manufacturer – please refer to your owners manual to determine when your tube needs to be replaced.
To maximise the life of your CPAP tube and get the best possible therapy for your sleep apnoea, you should clean your hose once a week to remain mould and bacteria-free. Clean it by disconnecting it from the CPAP machine and placing it in warm water with a few drops of mild detergent added, then simply swirl it around. Finally, thoroughly rinse the tube and hang it up to dry.
