Latest News & Information

Beechfield Sleep – Expert’s in the provision of diagnostic and treatment services for people with Sleep Apnoea

Beechfield Sleep is the Sleep Apnoea diagnostic and treatment division of Beechfield Healthcare. We have been in the business of Community Care for 25 years. At Beechfield Sleep, our objective is simple, to offer a superior service to maximise the success of your CPAP treatment by helping you to adhere to your therapy.

The single biggest reason for a person giving up CPAP is due to it feeling uncomfortable. Therefore we are committed to working with our customers to ensure they get the best configuration to continue with the treatment.

Beechfield Sleep are the distributors for Devilbiss CPAP Machines in Ireland. Devilbiss are global leaders in respiratory products and have over 130 years of market experience.

At Beechfield Sleep, we also stock a wide range of CPAP masks from the top brands including Philips Respironics, Resmed, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and Lowenstein. We have a range of full face, nasal or pillows CPAP masks and our expert Patient managers can visit to ensure you find the right mask.

The overall success of CPAP depends on acclimation. If you suffer from Sleep Apnoea, CPAP will revolutionise your life but adjusting to it can be difficult initially. Our tailored approach starts when we visit your home. This home visit allows us to better understand how you sleep and rather than telling us what way you lie, you can demonstrate. This approach ensures we have as much information as possible to recommend the best possible product to suit your needs.

It’s hard to get the configuration right first time, so if your CPAP causes you discomfort, inform our expert team and we can visit your home and modify the device or mask, to make it more comfortable. It may take several visits to find the right configuration, but we will work with you to ensure you get the best possible solution.

Regular use of CPAP therapy has a significant impact on mood, reported wellbeing and overall positivity.  Studies indicated a 20% improvement in severe depression, a two thirds reduction in severe sleepiness, and 20% less days lost from work. Nightly CPAP usage will not only halt symptoms like daytime sleepiness, lethargy and headaches, but users report a far higher sense of wellbeing.
